Keyboard and Remote Controls

Void Video uses a small set of controls that map cleanly to a handheld remote.

Key	Action
`M`	Open or close the menu
`Up` / `Down`	Move between rows or visual controls
`Left` / `Right`	Change the selected value
`Enter` / `Numpad Enter` / `E`	Select an item, open a submenu, or begin adjusting a visual handle
`Esc` / `B` / `Backspace`	Stop adjusting the current handle, return to the previous page, or close the main menu

During playback, when the menu is closed, Esc does nothing.

When entering text with the on-screen keyboard, Esc or M cancels text entry; B or Backspace deletes the last character.

TIP

The footer repeats the primary remote controls: Arrows: Navigate · Enter: Select · Esc: Back · M: Close Menu.

Global controls

Keys are mapped by physical keyboard position, so a configured remote can send the equivalent key presses.
